Tokinoniwa, Kusatsu (Gunma)

The public onsen facilities at Tokinoniwa are simply amazing! I loved both the outdoor and indoor baths, especially the one overlooking the forest. It was tranquil and offered various types of tubs to relax in. I could spend hours just soaking and enjoying the serene atmosphere.

The dining experience was fantastic! We enjoyed local dishes that were wonderfully prepared for both breakfast and dinner. Everything from the presentation to the flavors was good, and it truly felt like a special treat to savor these meals.

Our room was impressively large and clean, boasting traditional ryokan features like tatami mats and a beautiful Japanese balcony. The in-room onsen bath added a luxurious touch to our stay, making it convenient to relax privately.

I appreciated the ample guest parking available at the hotel. It made getting to and from our vehicle a breeze. Additionally, there's a free shuttle service that runs regularly, which is great for accessing nearby attractions without the hassle of finding parking.
